The Pig War was a dispute with Great Britain over ownership of the San Juan Islands. Mrs. Bave Presents the Pig War is the wacky tale of Emelia Bave and her play about the Pig War.  Unfortunately for Mrs. Bave,  not a single soul on San Juan Island wanted to be in her play.  No problem.  She hired a bunch of mannequins to play the parts.  Using her mannequin cast, she presented her play to unsuspecting tourists for over twenty years. 
 
In  Mrs. Bave Presents the Pig War, her mannequins spring to life.    But even the mannequins refuse to be in her awful play unless they can tell the real story of the Pig War.
